Onesto Construction has been operating as a specialized metal company in Drachten since 2008. We focus on custom steel, aluminum, and stainless steel constructions. Onesto stands for honesty: we strive for reliability, clear agreements, and cooperation without surprises. We work for industrial clients as well as contractors and private individuals, approaching every assignment with the same care and attention.
From welding and construction work in the workshop to complete frames, platforms, stairs, fencing, and piping on site: we provide technical input from the initial inquiry through to delivery. With craftsmanship and a practical approach, we ensure that our structures are safe, durable, and suited to our client's situation.

Onesto Construction is een metaalbedrijf uit Drachten, actief sinds 2008. Wij leveren maatwerk in staal, aluminium en RVS voor industrie, aannemers en particulieren. Betrouwbaarheid en duidelijke afspraken staan centraal. Van las- en constructiewerk tot complete frames, trappen, hekwerken en leidingwerk: wij denken technisch mee vanaf de eerste vraag tot de oplevering en leveren veilige, duurzame en passende constructies.
Our Workshop
At Onesto Construction, we have a modern workshop equipped with, among other things, an automated sawing machine, cutting shears, a press brake, and various welding machines suitable for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This allows us to efficiently cut, shear, and bend profiles and sheet materials to size, and then assemble and weld them in a single line.
For processes that we do not carry out in-house, such as laser cutting or specialist sheet metal work, we work with a fixed group of reliable suppliers. This allows us to maintain control over quality and planning, while still offering you a complete solution from drawing to end product.
Thanks to a compact, well-coordinated organization, we can respond quickly, with short lines of communication between the workshop and the client. You have direct contact with someone who knows the practicalities, thinks along with you in finding solutions, and monitors agreements. This allows us to keep the process clear, keep lead times short, and ensure that every construction fits the situation and requirements on site.

Onesto Construction beschikt over een modern ingerichte werkplaats waar we staal, RVS en aluminium efficiënt zagen, knippen, zetten en lassen. Specialistische bewerkingen zoals lasersnijden voeren we uit via vaste partners, zodat kwaliteit en planning gewaarborgd blijven. Dankzij onze compacte organisatie schakelen we snel en heeft u direct contact met iemand die meedenkt en het werk uitvoert.
Quality & Certification
Onesto Construction works in accordance with recognized standards and quality guidelines. We are a Recognized Training Company (Kenteq) and actively contribute to the development of new professionals within the technical field. In addition, we comply with the NEN-1090 standard. This European standard sets strict requirements for the design, manufacture, welding, and inspection of steel and aluminum structures. The certificate guarantees that our structures are safe, reliable, and manufactured according to uniform quality standards. For clients, this means that every structure is traceable, inspected, and delivered in full compliance with the legal CE marking requirements. This allows us to guarantee a high level of craftsmanship and safety.

We zijn een Erkend Leerbedrijf en voldoen aan de Europese NEN-1090 norm voor het ontwerpen, lassen en controleren van staal- en aluminiumconstructies. Hierdoor zijn onze producten veilig, betrouwbaar en volledig CE-gecertificeerd. Voor opdrachtgevers betekent dit traceerbare kwaliteit en constructies die voldoen aan alle wettelijke eisen.
On the move since 2008
Onesto Construction came into being when, as a self-employed entrepreneur, I was commissioned by a former employer to develop a specific product for the agricultural sector, particularly dairy farming. This product proved successful, after which I approached Lasmotec to collaborate. Onesto Construction B.V. was founded as a result of this collaboration. In the early years, I worked with young professionals who were still in vocational training at the time and later joined the company full-time via the apprenticeship route. At the time, we were located in a rented building at Lasmotec.
In 2018, the company was converted from a private limited company to a general partnership, whereby I continued as owner of Onesto Construction and we had our own premises built at our current location in Drachten. From this location, we continue to serve our clients and develop customized metal structures for industry, contractors, and private individuals.
On the move since 2008
Onesto Construction is ontstaan vanuit de ontwikkeling van een specifiek product voor de melkveehouderij. Het succes hiervan leidde tot een samenwerking met Lasmotec, waaruit Onesto Construction B.V. werd opgericht. In de beginjaren werkten we met jonge vakmensen die via de BOL- en BBL-route zijn doorgestroomd in het bedrijf.
In 2018 is de onderneming voortgezet als V.O.F. en hebben we een eigen pand laten bouwen op onze huidige locatie in Drachten. Vanuit deze werkplaats bedienen we tot op heden onze opdrachtgevers en blijven we ons ontwikkelen in maatwerk metaalconstructies voor industrie, aannemers en particulieren.
